I took Monty down to the river to make the most of the fleeting sunshine. He is SO slow on that walk - every blade of grass has to be sniffed....
If you get your stroke right when sculling you make lovely clean round puddles like this. Just in case there's any confusion he's travelling backwards (tricky as he can't see where he's going).
Love the reflection in the water. This makes me want to go down to the Potomac in the early evening to catch some of the rowers that are always there when I pass by on my way home. They make it look so effortless.
Love the almost silhoutte and the patterns in the water from his sculling (never knew that word til now!) Thank goodness for Monty being so slow, it gave you a chance to take photographs!
Sculling that is, not sniffing grass.
