Trinity Lane by judithg

Trinity Lane

I don't know if I'm going to regret the funky edit - that's the trouble with new toys. Yesterday's was edited with 'Camerabag 2' and I spent the rest of the evening wishing I'd left the colours in the original glorious tint. Another beautiful day today and I just can't stop myself going for something a bit OTT. A less extreme edit with good old PicMonkey will be found in Extras.
Three good things:
1. Lunch with my lovely husband in Yo Sushi just because he has a quietish day and it will all go bonkers as September kicks in.
2. Coffee on King's Parade which is closed for roadworks and is now the sole domain of bikes and pedestrians (so long as you avert your eyes from the enormous digger.
3. Lovely young man (Jo Curtis) singing Lou Reed's "Hallelujah' in the sunshine. To quote my other half 'A good day to be alive...'

Yes, mark 2 for me too, the natural colours are part of what makes it a great shot!
September 5th, 2012
Oh yes! That's great. When I have more time I'll try to grasp how you got to this effect.

This is so entirely different with this edit that I had to go back and make certain it was the same shot. This makes a very cool poster type shot. But the other is my favorite. Love your three good things. Sounds like a very good day. :)

Yes I have just checked again & the other one is my favourite but do think the puddle is deeper in this one!!!!! Lovely day you have had too Judith...lunch out with Nigel during the day, what could be better!!!

Enjoyed the effects in this one, but like the more 'natural' look of the other.

i just fav'd mark 2 :P... but the other thing that got my attention was your mention of Yo! Sushi... brought back memories of my last trip to London a good 10 years ago... we would just pile it on and everyone would just stare and look at the 2 hungry asians... must have thought we were gluttons.

@beadedgalaxy My husband and I had about 5 plates between us but a man and his son (in his 20's) on the next table had had 19 when we left and showed no sign of stopping.... That's one big bill!

@judithg haha that could have been us 10 years ago

I do love the editing, but I think I agree, I prefer the natural shot.

I prefer the other one too, but this is an interesting effect. Contests on the pp!
