Today I took this picture of this bird . . . no idea what it is. I saw him as I drove home from work in the tree - and I had to turn around and take it's picture. It sat there for 10 minutes for me. I will change the title of this picture when someone tells me what it is. Thanks for helping.
It is a hawk. i'm not sure which kind. If you google, you can probably tell by where you live which it is. Many of them are very particular of their range, while other have a very wide range. The dark spots on it's breast make me think that it is a red-tailed hawk, but it is hard for me to tell without seeing the back-side of the tail. They are about 18" with a wing span of about 4 feet.
Yes it is some sort of Hawk but not sure of the actual name of it....this is a beautiful shot of this majestic creature...am glad you turned around to capture it!!!
