When my 1st grader, Clayton, got off the bus today, he said "there is something in my bookbag that will really be a surprise!" I asked him what it was. He said "I finished my math journal today, Volume 1!" I'm glad he finds this so exciting and feels such accomplishment! What a great school year it's been so far!
