Incredible capture. You are amazing - especially for handheld which is pretty much what I've always done. Challenging! Great shot. I'll keep checking your work:) Don't think I'll be posting anymore. Totally cool. I simply think my work isn't up to standards. I'm going to be your fan for life!
@apogee2012 Thank you, Britt Nhi! I truly hope you don't stop posting as I so enjoy all your work. Have you ever read Vincent van Gogh's biography? He hated almost all of his paintings and was never satisfied, yet look how famous and adored he is now! And look how absolutely beautiful his paintings are - people still pay lots of money to own and view them 100+ years later! All that to say, if it means we're never satisfied, then we keep pushing on to attain our ideal. I'm rarely pleased with a photo I take, but I just keep trying. I have to remind myself frequently that I'm doing this for the fun of it and to improve in my own estimation. Not to please other people. This is a project for me. One of the ways I treat myself. Of course, I greatly enjoy others' comments, but it's not what keeps me going. I want to improve and, realistically, with all the busyness in my life, it's going to be a lifelong process. But then, I'm a "lifelong learner" type, so that doesn't bother me too much. Ha ha! Well, I surely didn't mean to preach a sermon here! Just hope you hang in there and enjoy the process. There is so much out there to see and to share with others via your fascinating pictures! Love ya! :)
