I love this progression of focus. Froggy should be happy as he is the one in focus the whole time lol. ;) I could never get my head around the fact the lower the number the wider the aperture, but I think it has finally sunk in now too. So I just remember, small for short (close/portrait) and big for long (landscapes/far away. Hope that helps :)
Just remember that the f.stop number is actually a fraction (with the 1 on top missing) - so 1/4 (f4) of something is naturally more/larger/bigger than 1/8 (f8) or 1/16 (f16) of the same thing ;-)
