I was looking at the gargoyles on our local church this morning and noticed this one high up on the tower. It's not as large, ornate, grotesque or weird as most of the others, but it does look as if the very stone is taking on human form and rising up out of the wall!
@jeff yes some people do - they are usually squat carved figures without water spouts. Not sure if this would qualify ..... it just seems to be the beginning of someone's nightmare!
