High Ham church. This viewpoint reminded me of how the church is viewed from outside by so many people - often with good cause! A beautiful building with so much history and spirituality associated with it - maybe .... but certainly a bit of a mystery at best, and standing aloof behind all sorts of barriers. For many, to all intents and purposes inaccessible to them and irrelevant to their everyday lives.
