@woofandweft1 You're not alone in hating them! In some ways I can understand it because they do cause a lot of problems .... but I'm still fascinated by them.

@rupert People dislike them for all sorts of reasons - spreading disease, stealing animal food, chewing holes in things, and simply because some people are scared stiff of them! I think they are great, but I didn't when I kept chickens!
