Walking companion

This little chap followed me as I walked across a field today. It always fascinates me that robins are so curious, even those living out in the middle of nowhere like this one who can't come across many humans to associate with food.

Yes...they do that don't they....we often go to The Lost Gardens of Heligan and we seem to meet the same little robin each time......recognise him by his markings

I love the thin little cheep they make when I'm working in the garden. Great shot to photograph one outside.

@woofandweft1 - a few years ago I did a nature evening class and we were taught how to recognise different calls of birds and it is very noticible that the Robin's song changes a lot during winter and becomes rather thin and plaintive

@julienne1 Oh yes, please do...it's worth every penny of the admission charge, and the café does sell some super cakes.....
