River Parrett again

Still lots of water over the Levels at Langport, but believe it or not it is much lower! 5 days ago in this picture http://365project.org/julienne1/365/2016-02-08 the jetty where my dog is standing today was completely submerged

Great record of the water receding again. It is going to take quite a while for all the water to go with the rivers so full and the ground so wet.

We came home on the train from London yesterday....the levels are still so filled up with water....right up to the rail tracks.

@shirleybankfarm it will take a long while especially with continuing rain that we're having.

@jomo it happens every winter to some degree. It's nowhere near as bad as the awful flooding two years ago, though a bit worse than last year.

@gijsje not for some while yet, and not while we're still having a lot of rain. It was dredged in a few places after the awful floods of 2013, but that doesn't alter the fact that the gradient to the sea is very slight so the water never gets away fast!
