Peeping through the trees by julienne1

Peeping through the trees

We don't really think of sheep as being woodland animals do we. We're much more used to seeing them grazing open pastures. But there are a small group of sheep at Turn Hill NT at the moment, happily grazing amongst the trees of Beer Wood. Today particularly they seemed grateful for the shade as it was rather hot in the open. This one was curiously peeping out at Jazmyn as she scuttled in and out of the trees.

Great shot! True, we think of sheep more in open fields. Here they will go in woodlands if available.
