It's quite eerie how different the light is at dawn - the reedbeds glow in an amazing way. This was taken at 6am and by 7am everything went so much darker and subdued! To add to the magic, the eerieness was enhanced by the sonorous booming of the male bitterns and the insistant repetetive call of two or three cuckoos
