A group of cranes flying over West Sedgemoor nature reserve on the Somerset Levels. They are some of the birds reintroduced to the UK in 2010 as part of "The Great Crane Project" based here in Somerset aiming to restore a breeding population after they disappeared about 400 years ago due to being hunted and the draining of their habitat.
There are Crane Projects in the Netherlands too.
