Monkey World is a fantastic ape rescue sanctuary in Dorset. They provide a wonderful home to a range of primates rescued from the pet trade and other dire situations. Sally is a female chimp taken from the wild to be a beach photographer's prop and rescued by Monkey World in 1993. She is leader of her own group at Monkey World since 1995, where she has acted as foster mother for orphaned or rejected young chimps and cares for them until they are old enough to join another group. She is 28 years old.
