Latticed Heath Moth

I thought this was a butterfly I didn't recognize because it was fluttering around with Common Blue butterflies in the sunshine. However a moth expert has put me right!

@jesika2 we have moths here with colours and butterflies that are drab greys and browns, so it can be hard to tell ...

@koalagardens Sorry, I was being somewhat fascetious. Compare the Dingy Skipper butterfly with Elephant Hawk moth. But people who know nothing about moths tend to think of them as dull grey or brown insects when in fact they can be even more glorious than the butterflies.
