When we returned from town we saw some of the local lads making the most of all the water that has swallowed up the farm land. The motorbike was towing one of the lads on a skim board and behind him his dog having a ball in the excess water.
The water is slowly draining away, but more rain is forecast, so fingers crossed that we don't return to this.
Glad to see their spirits are up. So much water! I must confess the first saying that sprang to mind when I read your caption was "make hay while the sun shines" - seems rather inappropriate!
