Today has been a busy day on the farm, as the plane was here sowing the fertilizer.
We use the neighbours airstrip and the trucks bring up the fert and put it in a concrete bunker. From there the loader driver ( Pilots wife) puts about 800 kg into the plane at a time and his skillful driving spreads it across our land. From empting one load and getting back with the next is about a 4 minute turn around. Several of our neighbours got their properties done at the same time, so he was here buzzing around from 7.30 to around 4.30.
The first time I met you & @dide we were a bit late as we had stopped to watch this very thing! Very different in the UK….it’s quite fascinating to see.
We were noticing that on a field near us two days ago. We thought it looked like a fun way to fly. Not sure if it is, but it looked fun. Wonderful story collage.
It's Dusty from PLANES!
But what happened to the orange color? ;-)
