I pride myself on being able to go outside and pick a salad all year round, in spring they are particularly pretty and tasty :)

@brigette i could send you some mesclun seed mixture if you like. @steveandkerry too early for nasturtium, the orange petals are from a flowering bush whos name escapes me at the moment...the red leaves are lettuce and red mizuna...yes there is borage, kale and radish flowers, cress, beet, kale, parsley, tatsoi, broadbean leaves, celery and carrot leaves, dandelion..chives, chervil. coriander, a lot of these self seed in my garden now.. @jackies365 @marymacaroni @juliedduncan @daily50

wow. that is some mixture alright.. my garden is just getting going - the tomatoes are in and loads of herbs, kale etc I have a green house - but i really need to get the weeds sorted out once and for all and get the soil fertilised. I have planted a variety of lettuce about 2 weeks ago they are beginning to look healthy but still a way to go. Never thought to photograph them so you have given me ideas Thank you

I couldn't agree more! I can only grow salad starting now until about april, then it gets too darn hot and everything bolts.
