The Ribblehead Viaduct on the Settle to Carlise railway. Hubby suggested this location for todays challenge of arches and I enjoyed the trip. Very cold wind chill factor today and my hands were frozen by the time we got back to the car.
Photogenically the view was better from the other side however non of my shots from there were good because of the position of the sun making the arches look black and silhouetted and no amount of changing settings seemed to work in my favour. I should have arrived at sunrise!
@jon_lip Even on a cold November morning the available car parking was full - lots of walkers. I dread to think how crowded it would be when a steam train was due to cross the viaduct!
