Morning Delight

This is a close-up of a Goatsbeard, a wildflower that looks like a giant dandelion. I woke up at 5:30 a.m. and went for a walk. The sun was quite magical as it rose above the horizon. Though I was afraid to risk subjecting myself to ticks or chiggers, I went ahead and took the plunge into the tall grasses to get a close up of this wildflower as the sun was rising. It was worth it.
