Went out this morning before work to look for the Buck that I photographed the last two mornings. Couldn't find him, but just as I was about to shoot the sun peeking through this tree, a Hawk snuck out from the branches.
Kareen, what area of Kansas do you live? Your photos of Kansas make that state look so enticing. I grew up in Kansas and I love to see what you do with it. I know that sunsets and sunrises and rural views especially around wheat harvest time are amazing.
@libertylady Hi Alice. Thanks so much for the compliment. I live in a small town in Northeast Kansas, about 45 minutes south of Topeka. It's amazing that before I had a camera, I didn't appreciate the beauty right in my own backyard near as much as I have in the last two years.
@kareenking I used to live in Parsons, KS and my grandparents lived in Pittsburg for awhile (we always went there to eat at Chicken Annies). Mostly though my memories are Wichita and western KS. Glad to be following you.
