What's so frustrating is that I took a number of strategic photos of the sunrise of this same scene, complete with airplanes silhouetted against the orange backdrop. My Nikon didn't alert me that there was no memory card in my camera until after I had put it down and rechecked it later. So, how in the world can a camera retain the image of photos when there is no memory card?? Grrrr . . .
That had to be SO frustrating! Be consoled that you have a multitude of other gorgeous sunrise/sunset photos. Pity those of us who don't. This is nice, anyway, but no airplanes and no orange backdrop. Grrrrrr....
