LOVE the light and bokeh. Months back, I was our retreat photographer, too. My first event. It was pretty cool and hard to do. Glad to have gotten the experience, though. How did it go for you?
@amandal Thanks Amanda. The indoor shots were tough. My Nikon 3200 takes much better outdoor shots. So, I had to do a lot of editing. It was a fun, but slightly exhausting experience. :)
@kareenking Yes, I have a 3000 and indoor was a challenge. I borrowed a 35mm lens (low light) and a flash for the event, but both were somewhat unfamiliar to me. I got some good shots, but many bad ones, too.
I like the low POV, the light, the reflections on the floor, the shallow DOF for the stones and the meditative feel. Sounds difficult, but (if this shot is any example) it looks like you did well.
