I never saw these bugs in the ten years I have lived here and now I see them everywhere. Still looking for a fully mature one with a wheel on his back.
Thanks for sharing this beautiful (scary) images---they're so unique, the only bugs/.insect I've seen mostly here are fruit flies- and love bugs).Careful 'tho and bring some insect spray w/u always :)
@eyesmile Gena apparently these bugs eat bugs that gardeners consider pests so they are helpful to have. I see a lot of them now because for the first time I am looking. That picture a day makes me look under every leaf. Haha!
@jodimuli Thanks Joey! I am amazed at all of these bugs. It is funny that while reading about some of them it tells how to get rid of them. I am thinking they are like my pets now that I photograph them, haha! But I do not pick them up. You would have fun crawling around the fields looking for them but you would miss the beach.
I realized how much patience it takes to get a picture of a bug by doing one myself. It ain't easy!
