Swarming Birds

This morning I could hear thousands of birds in the woods but could not see them. I Managed to get this quick shot when they suddenly flew. I do not know what they are though.

Looks like a scene from an October movie! My guess is that they are starlings.

I think Cathy is right. I think they are starlings. They are so noisy and they flock together at this time of year to prepare for migration.
