Toothless ginger

Sani lost her last teeth today in a planned operation. She's had severe FORL, which corrodes teeth. She had yearly dental appointments for a long time and hardly any teeth left. The vet recommended removing the remaining so she won't have to go to the dentist ever again.
Awww, Sani ginger ... I am sending you a very gentle hug, and I hope you feel better after your procedure. HUG beautiful lady

Poor Sani. I guess she will be getting special food (and hopefully a lot of love).

@gardencat Two weeks of soft foods but after that she can eat anything. It's a wonder how they cope without teeth.

Oh sweetheart, poor Sani. They do cope tho, amazingly. There's a family very close by with 3 rescues, all without teeth at a very young age, makes you wonder how bad their start of life was. But, even with no teeth the parents said they even enjoy dry food treats.

@blightygal Yes Sani's been eating kibble and chicken with no problem, and I don't expect it to change
