Located in Old Towne Spring which was established in 1840 by mostly German immigrants. Sweethearts hang locks on tree in honor of their love like in Paris - Not quite Paris but still a cool place. Now a quaint little town with shops and restaurants.
Nice idea to put love locks on a tree, much safer than on a bridge or gate because the weight of the locks damage the bridge etc. Looks as though this tree can cope with the strain.
