Today our wonderful friend Sandra offered to look after all three kids so that Caleb and I could go boarding together. We decided to go for a hike up Mt Roberts (which happens to be the mountain we can see from our house http://365project.org/kiwichick/365/2011-03-19). It was so fun to get out on our own, just like the old days. It's the first time all year we've been out snowboarding together. Thanks Sandra, we owe you xo
What a wonderful place to live!! We are really looking forward to our ski season, our family discovered skiing last year and one of our boys is having a go at snow sports for his school sport this Winter. I hope I can get some lovely snow photos. This is a great shot!!
@jo365 Thanks Jo. Where do you ski? I wish I could get out with my good camera more often as my little point and shoot really doesn't do things justice.
We live in Victoria, Australia so we head to Mt Buller. We were hoping to join friends this season in New Zealand but sadly they had the big earthquake in the city we were going to.
@jo365 I'm actually from Wellington, we just moved here a year ago because we love the snow! We've been to many NZ resorts but no Aussie ones. Hope you have a great ski season and get some great pics too!
@kris76@lunthemum It sure was nice to have time together. I'll have to try and make it happen more often! I didn't mind climbing the mountain though, but it would have been nice if the snow was better coming down. Oh well, you can't have it all!
