30th October by kiwichick

30th October

Today I spent the morning pumpkin carving. Reuben had been bitterly disappointed that I hadn't bought a pumpkin to carve. He said he was the only one in his class without his own pumpkin. So yesterday we picked up not one but three (one each!!!). I had helped carve a pumpkin in his kindergarten class on Friday, but other than that this is my first attempt. I didn't go for anything fancy. Now I just need a candle!! I was happy with this shot, it's just a shame the big pumpkin is eating a leaf.

Here are the pumpkins without kids: http://365project.org/kiwichick/second-choices/2011-10-30
Adorable capture and love their pumpkins! Very well done with the focus and how they are surrounded by leaves! I also love how your youngest is holding the stem!
