He spent about an hour reading in this spot today. Totally happy, just kept getting more and more books. He even talks to himself as he shuffles through the pages.
I totally missed my opportunity to take a "cloud" shot for the March theme today. Luckily I did take this photo (one of only 4 all day). I've tinted it green for the weekly green theme.
CUTE! what a lovely shot, I love watching them read, Do you have 'the EAR book' in that pile to the right?? We have that book but its one I had as a kid so its over 30 years old! both my kids LOVE it :)
he will be a quick reader
i taught kindergarten and many children who loved books read early and learned on their own once they knew the sounds.
he looks so happy with his comfy spot and his books.
great photo
@mariboo Thanks Missy. It's very similar to one of my daughter I took over a year ago (before 365). @emjay8 Thanks Mel. The Ear book is in the pile, along with a few other Dr Seuss books. We have a lot of my old books that my mother kept for the kids too. They have lasted well although a few of the softcover ones are losing their covers thanks to this little one. He treats books nicely but he reads a lot! Have your kids read the Lighthouse keeper books?
@worthitall Thanks for your comment :) @glendq He is in his happy place right there by the window. My son who is nearly 6 has just "got it" with reading and he now reads all the basic little readers to the two little ones. It's really cute to see.
