I missed the sunset by 5 mins and so I decided to play around with slow shutter speeds. Unfortunately I forgot my tripod so I had to rest the camera on a rock. Then I tried more new edits. Let me know what you think... next week we move onto night shots (but I started early and took some tonight).
You have captured the silky look. Are you shooting in RAW? This would give detail to the dark bits. I belive a ND flter does the trick I am about to purchase an ND and polarising filters.
@pukeko Yes Marg it was shot in raw and then processed (a lot) to bring out some contrast and colour. The one night I go down there was no clouds in the sky so not much colour at sunset :(
@tinatmmc Not at all because I've sent it but I chose this one to be marked :) It looks much better on my screen too, I really find 365 desaturates things. Thanks for your opinions.
