My 50mm is very temperamental these days, and will only work with good light. So I got three shots with it before it decided it didn't like the conditions. This was my third. I know... I could have changed lenses. But I liked this one anyway :) Happy One Night Stand everyone.
I wonder why your 50mm is doing that? It's a persnickety little lens as it is, but that's weird that it's not working in low light! Anyways, love the lashes and the peaceful concentration. You could have used this for your candid tomorrow:)
@westcoastwallis Thanks Paula. Actually it took a knock and that stuffed it up :( But I refuse to give up on it because it's my nicest lens. I have something else in mind for tomorrow that involves dancing!!
@kiwichick yeah a friend of mine dropped mine once (grrrrr) and it took a few shoots before it stopped being a jerk about focusing, but eventually it sorted itself:)
Great shot. This is pretty intense coloring. @orangecrush I feel the same way Jerry. I paid a lot for the lens a couple of years ago and can't say I love it but am forcing myself to believe in it the way everyone else does
