Today my daughters kindergarten class went snow shoeing in the forest to learn about the animals that live there. They'd been practicing with their snowshoes the week before which was helpful! The whole morning went really well and the kids had a blast.
Those kids look so colorful on the white snow and not at all disturbed by the cold air. I thought you need a sticks to be used with snowshoes ? Are those snowshoes not too slippery ?
@gosia If you were going up hills then poles are very helpful, but the kids were just wandering through the trees on the flat ground so it wasn't that slippery for them. Saying that they were falling over a bit but they didn't seem to mind :)
