A group of people from around the world took a photo of what was right in front of them at exactly 5.47pm today, Sunday the 15th March. If you'd like to see some of their photos head over to the event page at https://www.facebook.com/events/770820719662768/778759722202201/
So I tried to slip outside to take a photo of the snow thats falling so heavily today and my daughter followed me out. Apparently she thought I would be better off taking a photo of her for my worldwide minute shot. Of course I didn't mind at all. This was my first shot but the clock ticked over to 5.48 before I could take any more so I'll go with this one.
I find it ironical that today our ski resort had to close 3 weeks earlier than most years because of warm temperatures and quickly melting snow. And of course today, the last day the whole mountain was open it just dumped snow all day. What a crazy winter it has been.
That's so sad and funny all at the same time (about the ski resort, I mean). This is such a beautiful shot. I love her facial expression. I'm so happy I remembered to participate this year :)
I think she was right. Beautiful capture of a beautiful girl. We got a dump of snow yesterday but down the hill, just two minutes away there was just a skiff. I am so disappointed, can't even see the vinca that was blooming.
