Top of the Ferris wheel

We spent the day at Silverwood Theme Park in Idaho. It was the first time we'd been there, but somewhere I had looked forward to going to for years. Our last ride of the night was the Ferris wheel. It was a lovely night and I thought it would be a great opportunity for photos, although I only had my point and shoot with me.

Suprisingly good for a P&S! Is this vertical thing one which shoots you straight up in or lets you drop~ or both which would be even worse!

@maggiemae Thanks Maggie. I do use this p&s a lot in winter too as I can carry it in my jacket pocket while I am snowboarding. The tall tower is a plunge ride, which we did not go on (this time) as I was the only one wishing to try it!
