This weekend is the 43rd annual Golden City Days Festival. Being an old gold mining town there is a lot of history here, and also a lot of long running celebrations. Today was a beautiful day for it, and the kids enjoyed the candy-throwing paraders down the main street.
@maggiemae Some kids brought bags for the candy but they need not of bothered. There wasn't that much (thank goodness!!). You would have liked the next lot through, it was the local pipe band!! I somehow miss timed that photo though.
