This morning was the qualifies for the Canadian Open Free Ride Championships at our home hill. My son and his friend took part. Lifts opened at 7 to allow time for the 90 or so competitors to get in a course inspection and then a run. However the weather didn't cooperate and we ended up spending the first 2 hours waiting around in the heavy fog at the top of the mountain. After a while things did improve and they got the competition going. This was not long before the start. Funnily enough by the end of the day the visibility was great.
