We had all the seasons rolled into a single day today - stunning serene seas, brilliant sunshine, blue skies, then these black clouds as the thunder rolled in. I was torn between choosing this or the rainbow sky that completed the day - finally chose this because it was so eerie yet scary being outside with the threat of lightning . I guess lightning doesn't strike in the same place twice (vivid memories of a very scary childhood experience with lightning still jangle at my nerves)
@steampowered yes it was quite ominous but only some heavy raindrops along with the thunder and lightning - the worst passed us by fortunately so no hail to ruin the young lettuce plants
