Against the odds

I transplanted this as a rogue seedling from my tidy garden bed to a patch of ground alongside the creek, watered it once then ignored it for months - it fought back through the weeds and here it is. Will no doubt find its way into the soup pot very soon!

Wow amazing! I have chucked seeds out in my compost and noticed that I have some butternuts growing now
