This tiny little fish will grow to be a really big fish. It is 4 months old and weighs approximately 400grams. This is part of the NIWA research breeding programme. It was fascinating to see them so close up in the fish tank display at the Havelock Mussel festival. Havelock is the greenshell mussel capital of the world and once a year they celebrate Mussels.
