First swim

My 10month old grandson and his dad (my middle son) have arrived from Sweden for an extended stay - this is his first swim in the sea. I am so happy to be getting to know him.

@hop2it yes it is already lovely and soon all three sons and their families will be here. Tent city coming up. Now. All I have to do is buy the ham and assorted Xmas food! Oh and put up the Xmas decorations.

Indeed. He is a very smiley baby and I am learning a little Swedish while reading his little books to him. He is almost crawling and we wait and watch his attempts very closely. I reckon by Christmas Day he will be crawling everywhere. Delightful.

He will know English as well, though won't he? Children growing up with two languages are so much better off!

@maggiemae yes he sure will. Each parent is speaking to him in their own language so he is definitely going to be bilingual at the very least.
