Basking bison

This bison (or is it a buffalo) was enjoying basking in the sunshine with his herd. He was definitely more acclimatised to the heat than I was. It was 99 degrees F (about 35 Celsius for metric folk) a huge culture shock coming out of our NZ winter. Thank goodness for air-conditioning.

@dide I think I am beginning to get slightly used to it - as long as I can jump into an air-conditioned building or car quite quickly.

@nickspicsnz Its the closest I could get and the shadows were tricky but I was ok with it just because it was a bison!
