Lost luggage

Long story. short version.... Arrived in Barcelona after epic long flight ad downtime in airports only to discover our luggage was lost. Next morning I returned to the airport to fight my way back through security to search for two bags. Found one, got into an argument with security ( b ut hey they were dong their job) then finally retrieved our second bag. I couldn't believe they were loading truckloads of lost luggage each day. Good on you Lufthansa - not! What a waste of our first day in Barcelona. this is the only photo I managed to get.

Oh no, what a shame! Hope you enjoy the rest of your time there. I recommend the hop on stop off buses for an overview.

I've often wasted the first day of a visit with one thing or another! Lost luggage is a pain as you have to go all the way back out to the airport!

@yorkshirekiwi We used the hop on hop off bus to do just that. It did help us get our bearings although it also took a long time to do each circuit.

@julzmaioro @maggiemae @dawnee Such are the joys of travel! All part of the experience I dukes. Having said that Barcelona was amazing I am still trying to upload and sort out ;photos o I am way behind in posting my daily photos. I will get to them soon.We have been too busy making the most of our days and night in Barcelona.

@kiwinanna yes, it does a bit, but not half as long as the tours in Singapore. Never queued so much in my life before!
