Just being kiwi kids making sandstone paint alongside the creek. These two were chatting about all sorts of things whilst they worked and played.

We are lucky - a quiet trickling stream, probably with cockabullies and no crocodiles! Great to see the concentration!

@maggiemae we have a large eel which I have to capture a photo of. Apparently they bite but we trying to keep it well fed with fish scraps so it becomes a bit more tame.

@deliad I so agree - it was lovely to watch and of course the boy is my lovely grandson who is now 9 years old already....how did that happen?
