@mcseigle challenged me to "go back to your 10-year-old self (approximately) and take the picture she would take. I'm not asking you to abandon all the skill and experience you've gained, but what would she/you have taken a picture of at that age? How would you have photographed it? Setting? POV? Connect with what captivated and enthused you back then."
Well many 10 year old girls have a passion for all things 'horses and ponies'. Plus I had just gotten my very first camera so what else could I do but look longingly through every fence into paddocks of ponies. It took me another 7 years before I owned my own horse but I did have my first riding lesson at 10 years of age. I have now re-caught the (shutter) bug so I had to collage several photos of ponies to show my 10 year old's passion is alive and well. I even found my first camera which amazingly could take colour and black & white with one flick of the switch. I guess that is a clue to how long ago I was 10 years old!
What a great challenge Liana, and so well executed too. We are push partners this week, so I have looked through your shots and you have a wonderful diverse range of images, so how about you take 5 unrelated objects and shoot them in any way that is meaningful to you? Have fun1
Brilliant response to the challenge! Mission well accomplished. And you posted this before I post my response to the challenge you gave me (which I'm about to do) -- so not late at all.
@photobird Thank you for following my project. All comments much appreciated
