Threading tension

It is well known that sewing is not my favourite pastime. My current struggle with sewing mattress covers was already fraught but then the tension troubles began! Needless to say my way to release today's tension was to use it as a photo opportunity. It was either that or throw the stupid machine out the door. I will faff around with it again tomorrow - or not!

My pet hate is sewing & mending anything! Thank goodness I only have to put the odd button back on these days!

Don't give up on the tension adj's. I still pull mine out now and then.

This is so cute! I had a home ec course in high school, learned to sew and then bought a sewing machine that had all the bells and whistles but became so frustrated with tensions and tangles that I sold it.
Much prefer hand crafts!
I haven't forgotten that we are get pushed partners - will sit down this evening and issue your challenge.

@farmreporter I had to laugh that you preferred hand crafts - another unfavourite thing for me as i am all fingers and thumbs - I'll stick to photography I think. Get pushed challenge still on the way for you too
