yeah? can't get into it .. yet ... frustrated with the the author ... dang one day I'll read and watch something without editing it to pieces. Will my work brain ever turn off?
was given it at Christmas as son recently re diagnosed as Aspergers so will stay with it ... just as editor I see the failings of it as a published book ...
finished it after this previous post ... still disappointed at it but was sickened by the 'apparent reality' of the descriptions. thanks for making me finish it - did that on Monday ..
@kjarn only because the aspergers side was sooooooooooo lammmmmeeee to the plot ... not very storng, then sleeping with the lawyer in the first few chapters and Marianne being tooooo nice. It's the things I look for when evaluating manuscripts so therefore bugs me when a book gets into print. Good on her for being published but now I questions the networking as the talent was light on. Ok enough work mode now .... any other good reads you suggest?
@misschuff - not being a writer I don't look for the same sort of stuff as you do. It must be hard for you to turn off when reading. Are there any books that you think are well written? I'll put my thinking cap on for you.
