@lyndamcg I’ve only managed to read the first page and already I’ve found out that he had a brother who died in infancy and that my brother has his name as his middle name.
How exciting. My mum wrote her memoir but didn't show it to anyone. My sister and I found it in her wardrobe while we were clearing her house after she died
That is very special- I think it's really a privilege when our parents open the window to reveal parts of themselves we're unaware of. We tend to think of them as "our parents" but they were their own person long before we came into their lives!
