I love them! I had a golliwog and I had a Robertson's Golly badge, which I still have too. Mine is getting on for 50 years old now.......must see if I still have it up there!
I hadn't heard of Golliwog dolls before. For dolls like this we had Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy but they were Caucasian as far as their ethnicity- I don't even know how to point that out in a politically correct way! Here in the States it's a very sensitive issue (understandably so). I imagine it would be hard to find dolls like this in the U.S. I like their bright outfits.
